Serious Sam 2 Demo Quake 3 v1. They will form the basis of reference.

All benchmarks were conducted at xx32 ABIT BD7II (Intel i845E-ICH4) with vertical sync' disabled. Benchmarks were run 3 times consecutively, an average score was taken. All three systems were configured for maximum performance. The difference isn't great, but could affect results if they are initially close. Therefore, I've decided to normalise the results to MHz, as 2 of the motherboards on test natively run at that speed when set to MHz. I've chosen to go with the maximum bandwidth possible. Although newer graphics card drivers are available, I've chosen to go with the I've also disabled Bluetooth on the E Max2 for benchmark purposes as ABIT BD7II (Intel i845E-ICH4) adversely effects performance.

Seeing as the IT7 doesn't have it, the E should not be unfairly penalised. Anyway, onto the benchmarks.

Benchmarks I We'll start of with Sisoft Sandra's memory benchmark, one that highlights streaming data performance. Let's conclude. Performance conclusion I've previously mentioned that motherboards based on one chipset, whichever one it may be, and if from a respected motherboard manufacturer, usually tend to extremely similar in performance.
